When it comes to Ethnic Fashion, the one outfit that comes to my mind is undoubtedly a Sari. I find it very graceful & elegant, and this is the one outfit, never out of fashion. Just play with some colors, makeup, and you're good to go.

I have worn sari quite a few times, but this time I wanted it to be a little different than regular sarees. Since it was a south Indian wedding, so I wanted to go with a traditional south Indian touch. I got this beautiful Mustard yellow silk sari from Myntra. To be honest the sari was beyond my expectations; I didn't expect this good quality fabric online.

Though I had some other color in my mind earlier, I couldn't resist buying mustard yellow reason being it's my favorite color. The sari came with a blouse, and both are in the same color, but I would rather prefer both in contrasting color, so I bought a Green blouse to match-up with the sari.

Look:

I went for a minimal makeup look as it was a day time wedding, and my outfit color was bright. I went for light smokey eyes with nude lipstick and finished the look with pearl jhumkas and a tiny green bindi.
For hairs, I parted them in the middle section and twisted into a low bun, and completed the look with a fresh flower gajra wrapped around the bun.

When it comes to styling a look, I believe in comfort with the trend and love to play with colors and patterns. I think, you should know your Go-to-color. It's the safest choice for the days when you are in doubt and do not have much time for experiments.
Similarly, accessories & color contrasting plays a major role in upping your clothing game. So, let's get into the simple yet classy fashion ideas to instantly glam-up your look.

1) Know Your COLOR

We'll talk about the go-to-color and how to identify one for you. Have you ever wore a color or a specific clothing in which you got a lot of compliments ? not just once but every time you wear it you get a compliment for it. It may be a color which looks good on you or you feel that you tend to glow when you wear one.
When in doubt between the two colors, always do a mirror check wearing the dress one by one and look at your face in both the colors, if you see a glow on your face that's what your go-to-color is.

When you know the color that looks best on you, you can always go for it when in doubt.

2) Accessorize

Accessories your clothing with statement necklace or earrings. Make sure to wear only one at a time, as you don't want to look like a Christmas tree. Statement necklace looks good with a plain cloth with no or minimal pattern on it.
If you are not a jewelry person, go for a patterned scarf or waist belts to add a statement to your look.
a patterned scarf will always look good with a plain top and a wide waist belt will add a perfect glam to your plain body-con dress.

3) Layering

Layering comes handy to add an instant glam to a boring look. Your boring top and jeans look can be glam up by adding a jacket to it. To give a chic look, wear a spaghetti top in sheer or woven polyester fabric and add a jacket or shrug over it, make sure to contrast the colors rather than matching. Add pointed shoes

4) Color contrast

The last but not the least, last-minute-fashion hack is to color contrast your clothes. The colors which complement each other together are contrasting colors, for example; Mustard yellow + black/Grey, fuchsia pink + Sea green/Mint green.
you can always choose a different color category when it comes to wearing a two-piece clothing like your jeans& top or a dress and jacket over it. make sure one color is lighter than the other. Both the colors on your upper and bottom from dark family would make you look dull. And both the colors bright and similar wouldn't compliment each other either.

5) The Fit

Divide your clothing into two parts, one for your bottom and another for your upper clothing. If one is loose fitting make sure another is a body fit. for example,  a wide leg pant will flatter more with a body fitting tee rather than a balloon top and same goes vice-versa.

6) Look Neat

You don't need to splurge a bomb to look good always. The basic things like ironing your cloth and make sure your shoes look neat and your hair tide nicely can make a difference. Avoid chipped nails completely either keep them clean with no nail paint on or wear subtle nail color like nude or beige.

Hi Folks!

It’s been long since I posted anything on Fashion but wanted to do it for a while. So here I am with my first look-book post. I wore this recently in a corporate party. I was sure I wanted to wear something elegant which is not overpowering and compliments the occasion well.

Coming back to the look-book. I wanted it to look professional. Though I always prefer a touch of statement to my look, It can be a statement necklace, a pair of earnings or any other accessory that complements the look.
Keeping the same in mind, I paired the dress with this Boho chain necklace. It made the whole look, stand out and it looked perfectly well with the color. To finish the look I wore these bright pink heels.
