I am a matte lipstick Fan and who would not be! As they give you the most amazing finish, making lips more defined. Though if you are one like me who wears matte lipstick on a daily basis would know the struggles of scrubbing your lips almost every second day as the lipstick gets settled between the line gap of lips consequently making them look dry and chapped. Hence, this time I gave a try to a non-matte lipstick by the brand Milani, recommended to me by a friend.
Milani has both matte and non-matte range; their matte range has more mauve, brown and nude colors wherein, the non-matte range has different shades of pinks, reds and vibrant orange.

My experience: 

I was a little skeptical about the finish as I have never been a fan of glossy lipsticks. I have mixed feelings about this one.
It has a texture you will not get in any other non-matte lipstick its glossy in the beginning but gives a color stain like lip stains.
The staying power is lesser as expected. It hardly stays on the lips for 4 hrs. It does transfer while eating or drinking.
 The only thing I liked about it its light weight and moisturizes your lips, that's what you expect from a non-matte lipstick. It's a good option when you want to make your lips look glossier. You actually would not need a gloss with this one. "But but but; not to forget this is a Cruelty-free Brand. It's not tested on animals.

Milani has both the matte and non matte range.

If you are a glossy lipstick fan or want to try one then go for it. But a matte lipstick lover may not like it I would suggest you to go for the matte range with same brand !!

The Glamego Subscription box was the most raved about when they first launched their beauty box for just Rupees 208 INR. This is the lowest budget box available in India which contains both makeup and beauty products. Although I bought the first launched edition of Glamego Box but didn't like it very much. So I never reviewed it. I only liked the Kohl I received from the brand Auravedic which is an organic Kajal. But this time Glamego has improved a lot and increased the priced a little bit with amazing products. This box contains 4-5 makeup & beauty products.




I have purchased the July Edition this time it contains the products worth 2200 INR in just 399 INR. Now that's a steal deal. Who would not like to buy this? They still made it to the most budget friendly subscription box in India. I hope you are as excited as I am to show you what's Inside.

Looks: Glamego clearly glammed-up the box this time with the bright color theme. The packaging has impressed me a lot. The box is in the same cardboard packaging with a beautiful pastel color theme.

Lakme has recently introduced a new lipstick range in their 9to5 Collection. These lipsticks are already getting popular due to the fact that it has Primer in it. So you don't have to prime your lips with this lipstick. Secondly, the Bright Colors in the range are getting all the attention.
Although the colors are more towards Reds, Oranges & Browns, despite that they still have 30 shades in this range.

We all just love makeup and experimenting with new looks, ever happened following the makeup tutorial but end-up looking nothing like the model, all because we always miss some or other important part or we are unaware of the correct way to do it, I will discuss a few of them here today.
i am not an expert but yes these things will surely help you as these are my personal experiences, even i have made so many mistakes in make-up which i learned later and here i am to discuss the same.

1) Skipping the primer 




    Lets be honest, we all have done it once or twice in our life and then regretted later, all of you who don't know what a Primer is let me tell you, It is a serum like consistency moisturizing liquid which has to be applied before the foundation or makeup base, It makes your makeup base last longer and creates a layer between the makeup and your skin which helps in protecting skin from the chemicals. A primer is a must have product if you do not have a primer you can also use  Patanjali Aloevera Gel it works well as a primer. Just take a pea size amount of it and apply all over your face and neck and let it absorb into the skin for 30 secs!



2) Applying black color on the Brows






    Black brow filling is the biggest mistake we all do, black color on brows gives an unnatural look     and the darker you apply the more you will end-up looking like a clown, To give them a natural bold look first shape your eyebrows with an eyebrow brush keep the hairs upwards and then fill in the brow with brown pencil or brow color with a slightly light texture on the starting brow line and then fill it up fully towards the end. It will not only give an illusion of full broad brows but also make them look natural.



3) Blending Foundation with your Fingers



    Applying foundation with your fingers can give you a cakey look and uneven blend of foundation on your face, To apply a foundation always use a Beauty blender or a Kabuki Brush to blend it on the skin it will give you a flawless airbrushed look. Apply small dots all over your face and then blend it with any of the instrument, always Dab it to your skin instead of rubbing all over.



4) Applying blush all over your cheeks

   This is the blunder I have seen girls making most of the time,done horribly wrong in 1st picture, from choosing the right shade of blush as per your skin tone to applying the same has to be done carefully, blush Should be applied to the cheekbones towards the nose , make sure to keep a 2 finger distance between your nose and cheekbones, apply with a blush brush making circular motion in the upward direction.


5) Skipping the Neck

Even after following all the steps your makeup can still look like a mask if the neck is not covered, apply the same base and makeup setting powder as used on the face, covering the neck will give you more natural and flawless look.
