I am a matte lipstick Fan and who would not be! As they give you the most amazing finish, making lips more defined. Though if you are one like me who wears matte lipstick on a daily basis would know the struggles of scrubbing your lips almost every second day as the lipstick gets settled between the line gap of lips consequently making them look dry and chapped. Hence, this time I gave a try to a non-matte lipstick by the brand Milani, recommended to me by a friend.
Milani has both matte and non-matte range; their matte range has more mauve, brown and nude colors wherein, the non-matte range has different shades of pinks, reds and vibrant orange.

My experience: 

I was a little skeptical about the finish as I have never been a fan of glossy lipsticks. I have mixed feelings about this one.
It has a texture you will not get in any other non-matte lipstick its glossy in the beginning but gives a color stain like lip stains.
The staying power is lesser as expected. It hardly stays on the lips for 4 hrs. It does transfer while eating or drinking.
 The only thing I liked about it its light weight and moisturizes your lips, that's what you expect from a non-matte lipstick. It's a good option when you want to make your lips look glossier. You actually would not need a gloss with this one. "But but but; not to forget this is a Cruelty-free Brand. It's not tested on animals.

Milani has both the matte and non matte range.

If you are a glossy lipstick fan or want to try one then go for it. But a matte lipstick lover may not like it I would suggest you to go for the matte range with same brand !!
