All those photography enthusiast will find some amazing clicks here. Even if you are not, Just sit and relax you will enjoy the peaceful serene environment.

My experience happen to be a memorable one with Day and night stay at Backwaters houseboat
The Distance from Cochin Airport to Alleppey backwaters is around 2-3 Hours.
Mode of transport - Book Zoom Car/Taxi or Uber


Main Highlights :

1) Cruising on the boat for the entire day.
1) Watch sunrise and sunset view
2) Having breakfast while cruising on the boat
3) Peaceful environment with scenic beauty
4) Fish Fry & Authentic south Indian cuisine


My Experience: It was around 3 hrs travel from Cochin airport, As soon as we reached the houseboat we received a warm welcome by the houseboat crew. We were given fresh juices and rooms distributed. After a while the boat started slowly making its way through the village near backwaters towards the open sea side and the surroundings changed from green to blue gradually. Later on till the evening we were back to the same place.
We decided to go to the nearest beach from our place, which is Alappuzha beach hardly 15 mins away from the houseboat. The day stared with house boating and ended with a beautiful sunset view at Alappuzha beach.

That was an amazingly spent Day 1 at Kerala. Will share a separate post for Alapphuzha beach, stay tuned !
